Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 8 November 2026
This statement applies to the pages published on www.coduripostale.net, in Romanian and in English.
This website is designed to be used by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. You should be able to:
- zoom in to 200% using your browser, or increase the text size to 200% using your browser settings or the accessibility options, without any content being cut off or going off the page;
- navigate most of the website using only a keyboard, including the search, the suggestions, the list of cities and the contact form.
The website is designed to support screen readers and speech recognition software, but this has not yet been tested.
Accessibility options
The "Accessibility" button at the top of every page opens a panel where you can:
- increase the text size up to 200% or choose a font designed for readers with dyslexia;
- increase the spacing between lines, letters and words;
- choose high contrast, inverted colours or greyscale, or adjust the colour saturation;
- use a reading guide or a reading mask, stop animations, hide images or show the alternative text of images;
- underline links and headings or use a larger cursor;
- see a list of the page's regions and headings and go straight to any of them.
Ctrl+F2 also opens and closes the panel. Your settings are saved in your browser until you reset them in the panel.
Keyboard
- On pages with a search box, the first link, "Skip to search", goes straight to the search box.
- On the same pages, the "/" key moves the cursor to the search box. If it gets in your way, for example when you dictate, you can turn it off in the accessibility toolbar with "Turn off the / shortcut".
- In the list of suggestions, use the up and down arrow keys to select a suggestion, Enter to open it and Escape to close the list.
- On the home page, use the left and right arrow keys to change the letter in the list of cities.
- The element with keyboard focus is clearly marked.
Compliance status
The website is designed to meet the EN 301 549 v3.2.1 technical standard for websites and mobile apps, which follows level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.
This website is partially compliant with the EN 301 549 v3.2.1 standard and with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially compliant means that some parts of the content do not fully comply with the accessibility standard. They are described below.
Content that is not fully accessible
- The "I'm not a robot" check in the contact form is Google reCAPTCHA. It may ask you to solve a visual or audio challenge that some people cannot complete, and we cannot change it. If you cannot use it, email us directly.
- The ads are provided by Google and its partners and may not meet the standard. We cannot control their accessibility, but no part of the website depends on them.
- The "Map" link opens Google Maps, and the share links open WhatsApp and Facebook, in a new window without warning. We do not control the accessibility of these websites. The address and the postcode are also shown on our page.
Preparation of this statement
This statement was prepared on 8 November 2026 following a self-assessment.
It is based on an examination of a representative sample of pages: the home page, county, locality, street and postcode pages, search results, the contact page and the privacy policy, in both languages. Automated and manual tests were carried out on a computer and on a phone. They covered colour contrast, the size of buttons and other clickable or tappable elements, keyboard use, text size and zoom up to 200% and operation without JavaScript. The website has not yet been tested with screen readers or speech recognition software.
Feedback
We would like to hear what you think about the accessibility of the website. Please let us know if you come across any barriers:
- By email: contact@coduripostale.net
- Through the contact form. Please do not include sensitive data, such as information about your health.
We aim to reply within 10 working days of receiving your message.
Compatibility with browsers and assistive technology
The website is designed to work with:
- the latest versions of the Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari browsers;
- the latest versions of the NVDA, VoiceOver and TalkBack screen readers.
Technical specifications
The accessibility of this website relies on HTML, WAI-ARIA, CSS and JavaScript. The search and the postcode pages also work without JavaScript. The suggestions, the copy buttons, the accessibility options and the check in the contact form need it.
